Dear Science Fair Official:
The Capital PC User's Group is please to send a volunteer to judge at your science fair and participate in this wonderful opportunity to recognize talented, hard working young people. CPCUG plans to give two awards for outstanding performance in the understanding and/or application of computer or telecommunications technology. These awards may be made in any category of the fair at the discretion of the judge. Each student awardee shall be given a check for $25, a certificate or plaque, and one year free full membership to CPCUG.
CPCUG volunteer judges report to me the awardees names, address, and names and addresses of parent/guardians. We need this data to make the award certificates and invite the awardees to CPCUG to receive their recognition. Awardee name, project, and school is posted on our web site. To protect the identities of the awardees, we no longer collect social security numbers for savings bonds.
At our last General Meeting we acknowledged the accomplishments of several young scientists. We presented plaques, checks, and one year CPCUG memberships to five for their special achievement in exploring computer technology. These young people were quite excited at the honor. This year CPCUG looks forward to even more awards and glowing young faces.
I have asked a volunteer judge to contact you to confirm that
we have the correct date, time, location, and paperwork. If I can help, please
call me at 301-299-0593 or email me at
.
Yours truly,
